Graviola – just wonderful!

Graviola has been an alternative remedy to fungus , infections, cancer and other diseases along the century for native indigenous of Amazonia.

Studies on the properties’ of this plant began in 1940 and until now they are going on confirming every year new medical property of this plant.
Experiments made in laboratory keeps confirming the curative power of this plant with cancer and many other diseases.

Graviola has in its leaves, fruits, cortex and seeds many different phytochemical each one of them is active against a particular disease, one of these is a molecule known as annonaceous acetogenins that is the main subject of researchers and experiments . Some research has confirmed that annonaceous acetogenins has powerful anti-cancer properties’ and it is also selectively harmless towards normal cells while toxic to cancer cells.

Other clinical laboratory tests also show an antiviral activity of annonaceus acetogenins. The active anti-cancer phytochemical annonaceous acetogenins has the properties to attack and inhibit specifically some enzymatic processes that occurs only in the cancer cells’ membranes and while they are toxic to the cancer cells,as we told before, they do not create any toxicity in healthy cells.

The National Institute for research on cancer of the United States of America in 1976 have shown, in various laboratory experiments that the active phytochemical annonaceus acetogensis present in the graviola leaves acts specifically against several cancer cells such as carcinoma cells of the lung, adenocarcinoma of the prostate, cancer cells of breast, liver and pancreatic carcinoma.

Further studies made in Taiwan have shown that the annonaceus acetogenins is toxic also against ovarian cancer cells, bladder cancer and in some types of skin cancer.

Non toxicity of graviola allows people to use it even as only an antioxidant and preventive treatment but, in this instance, the daily recommendation is obviously smaller than the one for diseased people.

The alkaloids found in graviola fruit also have anti-depressant effects. The active anti-cancer phyto-chemical of graviola has demonstrated in laboratory tests, to be 10.000 times more effective than the one of the adramicina that is a chemotherapy medicine commonly used in the common treatments.
